Pirates’ minor league affiliates bounced back in a big way after a rough start to the week, going 3-1 on Wednesday with a pair of walk-off wins. The Indianapolis Indians played to a 0-0 tie through much of nine innings before Carter Bins’ dribbling single scraped across all the offense they needed.

Wednesday, Nov. 1, the Salt River Rafters squared off against The Peoria Javelinas in Peoria. Pittsburgh Pirates prospects Carter Bins (C) and Jase Bowen (CF) were in Salt River’s starting lineup. For the first time in the Arizona Fall League season, Pittsburgh Pirates prospect Jase Bowen did not play for the Salt River Rafters. Bowen had played in the team’s first ten games. Salt River played Pirates prospect Jack Brannigan (SS) and Carter Bins (C) in Bowen’s absence.
